Our Workshops & Events
We offer beginner-friendly workshops in a variety of creative disciplines. Crafts range from fiber/textile related arts like embroidery, crochet, macrame, punch needle and weaving, to other crafts like mosaic and water color painting.

In addition to workshops, each month we host free meet ups that are open to the community, called crafting bodies and blankets for the homeless. All you need to do is bring your crafts along with you to the meet up and have fun!

Macrame workshops
Our popular beginners macrame workshop is perfect for those looking to learn a new skill and create something beautiful. We offer two macrame workshops - one specialized in creating tapestries and one for creating plant hangers. Our experienced instructors will explain all the knots and steps involved in macrame, making it an enjoyable and relaxing day out. The best part is you'll get to bring your new masterpiece home with you at the end of the lesson.
Weaving workshops
We offer two different types of weaving classes at The Craft House: tapestry weaving and circular weaving. For all of our classes, no prior experience is necessary. You'll learn all the essential techniques and skills required to create beautiful woven pieces, and our experienced instructors will be on hand to guide you every step of the way.
Punch Needle workshops

Mosaic workshops
Our 3 hour mosaic tiling class is perfect for beginners who want to learn the basics of this amazing technique. We teach you how to cut and shape tiles, how to create designs and patterns and how to put all the pieces together. Our classes are taught by talented instructors who are passionate about helping you discover your creativity and bring it into the world. Blankets for the homeless events
Once per month The Craft House opens it's doors for all knitters or crocheters who want to give back. Everyone brings their own supplies and makes knitted or crochet squares of (around) 12x12cm. When we have enough squares, our teacher sews them together to create blankets, which we then donate to homeless shelters in the Netherlands. This initiative is a great way to meet fellow knitting/crochet enthusiasts and make new friends along the way.
